Baton Rouge, LA – Cyclist Killed In Collision At 1200 N Blvd

Baton Rouge, LA (August 16, 2019) – Early Friday morning, on August 16th, a woman riding a bike was struck and killed by a vehicle. The victim was crossing the roadway at the 1200 block of North Blvd. around 9:35 a.m. The deceased has been identified by authorities as 32-year-old Brandy Zeringue. 

According to reports from Baton Rouge Police, Zeringue was struck by a 2005 Jeep Liberty. She was transported to a local medical center where she was pronounced dead. No information has been released concerning the identity or status of the involved motorist. 

The cause of the accident is being investigated by BRPD.
