Baton Rouge, LA – Injury Accident At S Acadian Thwy & Belmont Ave

Baton Rouge, LA (August 3, 2019) – There was some traffic congestion in the Baton Rouge area after a collision that took place on Wednesday, July 31st. Local news media reported the crash at around 12:16, stating that it took place on S. Acadian Thwy at the intersection with Belmont Ave. It was advised that drivers execute caution when traveling in the area following the incident.

Initial reports confirm that the wreck caused injury to at least one person involved. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time, and the number of injured victims was not released. 

EMS reported to the scene to evaluate the injured parties and provide medical aid. 

No other information has been released about the collision.

Local authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
