Baton Rouge, LA – Traffic Accident Occurs On West I-10 Near Acadian Thwy

Baton Rouge, LA (August 2, 2019) – A local news source confirmed that a traffic accident occurred along the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 today, August 2, 2019.

The wreck happened along west I-10 in the vicinity of the Acadian Thruway sometime around 9:56 AM. Following the crash, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the victims involved. They treated the less injured at the scene and transported those who required further treatment to local area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Further details surrounding the accident have not yet been released. Police are investigating the cause of the accident(s).
