Bobcat Pause at Texas State University Honors Haley Nowak

Bobcat Pause

Bobcat Pause is an annual event that honors members of the campus community who have recently passed away. The event is sponsored by Student Foundation and the Dean of Students Office. It occurs every spring.

This year will mark the 26th annual Bobcat Pause Memorial Service, which will take place in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 6:00 pm, with a reception preceding the ceremony at 5:15 pm.
One of the students being memorialized is Haley Nowak who was tragically killed on July 1, 2012 in Austin Texas.  Haley was a guest passenger in a car driven by Tommie Lee Egger.  Egger is believed to have been traveling at a very high speed and was intoxicated at the time of the one car accident.  Egger fled the scene after the accident leaving Haley Nowak alone and dying in the wrecked car.  He was arrested several days after the wreck and remains in jail pending trial.
Fisher Injury Lawyers is proud to represent the family of Haley Nowak in proceedings against Egger, his automobile and excess insurance companies and against several Austin Texas bars for dram shop negligence.  The popular 6th Street bars including the Trophy Room and Rooftop are alleged to have served alcohol to Haley Nowak who was under-aged and the already intoxicated Egger.  Visit our webpage for more information on Dram Shop Liability or contact us with any questions regarding this article or if you or a loved one has been seriously injured in an accident.
