Coronavirus in Louisiana Nursing Homes

Officials with the Louisiana Department of Health announced they have identified COVID-19 in 124 nursing homes in the state.

There are a total of 436 nursing homes and adult residential care facilities in Louisiana. Within nursing homes, 1,320 patients have been reported to have COVID-19. Among nursing home residents, 275 deaths have been reported.

LDH has stopped reporting new “clusters.”
