Garyville, LA – Driver Dies After Vehicle Collides with A Train on LA-54

Garyville, LA (June 11, 2019) – A man was confirmed to have died as a result of an accident in which his vehicle collided with a train. The accident happened in Garyville on LA-54.  It took place in the afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. The crash occurred earlier today, Tuesday, June 11th.

The reason that the man’s vehicle hit the train isn’t yet known. 

The investigation into the accident is still underway. The identity of the deceased has not yet been made public.
