Iberville Parish, LA – One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on LA Highway 77

Iberville Parish, LA (July 17, 2019) – Police reported that one person was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash that took place on LA Highway 77 in Iberville Parish. 

79-year-old Judith Hillman, of Plaquemine, had been driving a 2011 Toyota and entered onto LA Highway 77 while traveling northbound when she entered into the path of a motorcyclist. The motorcycle and the Toyota collided with one another.

According to police, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries. There was also a passenger on the motorcycle who was hospitalized with serious injuries. Hillman also suffered from minor injuries.

Police have not yet identified the motorcyclist. Charges are pending and the investigation remains active at this time.
