Lake Charles, LA – Carencro Man Killed In Crash On I-210 At US-90

Lake Charles, LA (August 15, 2019) – A man from Carencro was killed in an early morning accident that took place on Tuesday, August 13th. The crash happened on Interstate 210 near US-90. According to officials from the Lake Charles Police Department, the crash involved two vehicles.

Charles Ozenne was traveling west on I-210 attempting to exit on US-90. Ozenne failed to stop at a stop sign located at the bottom of the ramp. He was then struck by a westbound pickup truck driven by Justin Guidry. 

Ozenne was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Impairment is not believed to have played a role in the crash. The accident is under investigation by local authorities.
