New Orleans, LA – 2 Killed In Airplane Crash Near Morrison Rd & Jourdan Rd

New Orleans, LA (August 17, 2019) – A plane crash that occurred in New Orleans East resulted in two fatalities. The accident took place in a small field located near the intersection of Morrison Road and Jordan Road on Friday, August 16th, in the afternoon.   

Several emergency units responded to the scene of the crash. A small fire was put out by the New Orleans Fire Department, and the two victims were pronounced deceased by the New Orleans Emergency Medical Services. No other injuries were reported in the collision.

Local and federal agencies are coordinating to investigate the cause of the accident. Additional information is not currently available.
