August 19, 2019 New Orleans, LA – UPDATE: Anchor Identified In Fatal Crash Near Lakefront Airport New Orleans, LA (August 18, 2019) – A well-known and respected New Orleans anchor has been identified by authorities as one of the two victims in a fatal airplane crash. The accident happened on Friday, August 16, while the anchor was shooting a story in a stunt airplane. The airplane crashed near the area of New Orleans Lakefront Airport in New Orleans East. The deceased victim has been identified as 53-year-old Nancy Parker. Parker and the plane’s pilot were killed in the crash, both of which were pronounced dead at the scene.
