Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Burbank Drive

One person has been taken to a local hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Burbank Drive.

The incident happened Tuesday, April 9 in the 5900 block of Burbank Drive in front of the Wildwood Apartments near Lee Drive. Emergency personnel say the person hit was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

Burbank at Lee is a common route between LSU campus and large student housing developments.  The area has large amounts of pedestrian and bicycle traffic.  It is an area that requires sharp attention from drivers and pedestrians.  Stay alert and attentive.  Slow down and be courteous to others on our roadways.
