Shreveport, LA (September 2, 2019) – Monday evening, September 2, a hit-and-run accident occurred that resulted in the victim sustaining injuries. The incident took place in Shreveport, LA, at the 3700 block of Hearne Avenue. According to the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), the accident involved a vehicle that struck a motorcyclist. 

Initial reports indicated that a black Chrysler 300 hit a motorcyclist after running a red light around 6:20 p.m. The driver failed to remain at the scene following the accident. Witnesses claim that the Chrysler traveling toward Bossier. 

The injured motorcyclist was transported to Ochsner LSU Health. 

The cause of the crash is being investigated by SPD. SPD is currently seeking any information that may reveal the identity of the driver.
