Shreveport, LA – 1 Deceased, 1 Critically Injured in Wreck on Inner Loop Expy

Shreveport, LA (September 12, 2019) – According to local police, a crash occurred in Shreveport, Louisiana, on the evening of Wednesday, September 11. The accident took place near W 70th Street at the Inner Loop Expressway on LA-3132. Caddo Parrish 911 dispatch records indicated that the accident happened at 7:34 p.m. 

Initial reports found that a pickup truck was traveling at a high-speed on LA-3132 EB when it left the roadway. It then struck a pole and flipped over. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. 

Nine police units were reportedly at the scene. These units are currently investigating the cause of the wreck.
