St Francisville, LA – Salvatore Euggino Arrested For Fatal Wreck On LA-10 & US-61

St. Francisville, LA (July 15, 2019) – Local authorities have taken a man into custody for his second fatal collision in under four months on Monday, July 15th. Officials were at the scene of a deadly crash in West Feliciana Parish, at the intersection of LA-10 and US-61, around 12:30 p.m. 

The crash took the life of Ricky J. Pourciau, of St. Francisville, who was walking west on LA-10. 

Salvatore Euggino was traveling west on LA-10 in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and struck Pourciau. Pourciau sustained fatal injuries, while Euggino failed to remain at the scene of the crash. 

Euggino was later located and taken into custody under charges of negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run, and careless operation.

Euggino was previously arrested on March 26, 2019, for negligent homicide after crossing the centerline of a road in East Feliciana Parish, striking and killing 34-year-old Marshaun Robertson, of Ethel.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
