Louisiana Head-On Collision The centerline is a crucial factor when determining liability after a car accident. A driver may cross the centerline of a roadway for many reasons. This includes recklessness, fatigue, or poor roadway conditions. When someone is involved in a wreck with a vehicle that crosses the centerline, they will often sustain severe injuries due to the resulting head-on collision. Unfortunately, in severe cases, victims may even sustain fatal injuries.
