Who is Entitled to Unclaimed Funds and Assets?

Disponible 24/7/365

The next resource in the series on helping the injured and in need can help everyone reclaim their assets. Everyone reading this blog should click the links I am about to discuss because you do not need to have an injury to make a claim for unclaimed funds. The links below will help you track down assets you should rightfully own, but have not yet claimed.

How do Unclaimed Funds Help the Injured?

Many injured people cannot work, or if they can, they need to work at a reduced capacity and earn less than before the injury. Workers Compensation and no-fault insurance will not pay a full wage. An injured person suffers physically and financially. Expenses that were manageable before the injury may now be ruinous. If you are hurt and cannot work, or you are living on a reduced income, extra "found" funds can help you over life's next hurdle. Found founds can help pay the month's rent or put food on the table. They can provide some relief when an unexpected bill comes in. They might provide a small luxury during a difficult time. Check to see if you have any unclaimed funds.

Unclaimed Funds From Your State

Every state keeps track of missing, lost, and unclaimed funds and assets in statewide databases that act like a lost-and-found. People can run an easy search by name and collect any unclaimed funds they are entitled to receive. For example, you may not realize you are entitled to money back under an insurance contract you signed ten years ago or you may not realize you should have received un-cashed dividends. The state has held those funds for you. You can search for, and claim, any money that belongs to you by clicking the links below. To make a claim in New York, click here: https://www.osc.ny.gov/unclaimed-fundsTo search for another state's unclaimed funds website, click here: https://unclaimed.org/For a multi-state search, click here: https://missingmoney.com/
