Harvey, LA – Bicyclist Killed In Wreck With Car On Manhattan Blvd

Harvey, LA (July 5, 2019) – Local police have confirmed that a bicyclist died after colliding with a car in the early hours of Friday, July 5, 2019. At this time, the identity of the rider has not been released. 

Based on the initial report, the man was riding his bicycle north along 900 Manhattan Boulevard in Harvey when a silver Infiniti crashed into him. Authorities from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office have not revealed if the motorist attempted to help the victim. 

Emergency personnel transported the bicyclist to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
