New Orleans, LA (July 7, 2019) – Local news sources have reported a collision in the afternoon on Sunday, July 7^th. The crash took place around 1:51 p.m. at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Chef Menteur Hwy. 

Significant congestion resulted from the accident. Reports indicate traffic extended as far back as Morrison Rd. 

Emergency response units were at the scene to clear the roadway of debris. The highway was cleared of the wreckage by 2:26 p.m.

The condition of those involved in the crash has not yet been released. 

The crash is currently under investigation at this time.
