Shreveport, LA – 2 Injured, 1 Critically After Rear-End Crash at 3500 Hearne Ave

Shreveport, LA (July 2, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized Tuesday evening on July 2nd after being involved in a rear-end collision with another vehicle. Her passenger also sustained injuries according to police at the scene. The accident happened at the 3500 block of Hearne Avenue. 

The crash was reported to have happened around 7:00 p.m.  The driver rear-ended a vehicle while heading to the hospital after being shot. It is thought the shooting happened near the 2500 or 2800 block of Emery Street.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with what was described as life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the other vehicle did not report any injuries.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by police officials, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
