August 31, 2019 Washington Parish, LA – 2 Killed In Wreck On LA-440 West Of LA-450 Washington Parish, LA (August 30, 2019) – On the morning of Friday, August 30, there was a deadly crash in Washington Parish. The crash took the lives of two occupants on LA-440 west of LA-450. Louisiana State Police (LSP) was at the scene of the wreck around 7:30 a.m. The deceased victims killed in the crash were identified as 37-year-old Terry A. Haney, Jr. of Baton Rouge and 35-year-old Johnny Tyrell Harvey of Mt. Hermon. Initial reports indicated that Haney was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero westbound on LA-440 when the vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Both Haney and Harvey were unrestrained at the time of the crash and sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Haney and Harvey were both pronounced deceased at the scene. Routine toxicology tests are currently pending. The accident is being investigated by local authorities.
