Fisher Injury Lawyers Client Marcus Lattimore Finds Inspiration Working With ChildrenOne of the great rewards of being an attorney is the opportunity to help those who themselves help so many others. Our substantial practice representing exceptional NCAA and NFL athletes recover on disability and loss of value policies after suffering an injury puts us in daily contact with many people able and willing to help many others. Perhaps none better represents this ideal than our client, Marcus Lattimore.Marcus was a star athlete at the University of South Carolina who suffered a serious injury greatly reducing his NFL potential. But Marcus is a competitor and a go getter. He worked hard to rehabilitate his injury and restore his NFL prospect. Ultimately, he was able to mitigate some of his loss when the 49ers took a chance on him. Unfortunately, hard work and determination were not enough to overcome his injury and Marcus never saw the NFL playing field. Now out of the NFL. Marcus works for his alma mater and tirelessly gives his free time to mentor local youth. One example, the Xtra Inch sports camp at C.C. Woodson Recreation Center in his hometown. The camp has been going on in various locations statewide throughout the spring as part of the Marcus Lattimore Foundation/Dreams."It’s good to be back at home in the 864 with my people,” he said. “We’re all alike. We’re all hard-work minded, and these kids out here are working hard. I’m glad they came out because they’re going to get quality from all these coaches in every drill that we go through. I’m just glad to be back at home, and it’s an awesome feeling to be out here with my hometown boys and these beautiful people.”Fisher Injury Lawyers tips its hat to Marcus and applaud his character as a role model for some many young boys and girls.
