New Orleans, LA – 2 Injured In Wreck At 13000 Chef Menteur Hwy

New Orleans, LA (August 10, 2019) – According to reports from the New Orleans Police Department, there was a shooting in the city of New Orleans that led to a collision, resulting in two women being injured. The crash took place at the 13000 block of Chef Menteur Highway on Thursday, August 8th. Police officials are currently investigating the scene of the shooting which resulted in the wreck.

A woman was shot at 14700 Chef Menteur Hwy in New Orleans East leading up to the collision. The woman was reportedly shot in the leg. After the shooting, an individual attempted to drive the woman to the hospital for treatment and was involved in a car crash on the way to the hospital. 

Two other women were injured in the wreck. All injured parties were reported to be in stable condition. Local authorities are conducting an investigation into the crash. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
