Shreveport, LA – 2 Hospitalized In Wreck On 1700 Portland Ave

Shreveport, LA (August 10, 2019) – Officials from the Shreveport Police Department were at the scene of a two-vehicle accident on the morning of Wednesday, August 7th. The wreck took place around 11:30 a.m. at the 1700 block of Portland Avenue. Both drivers were reported to have injuries, according to the officers at the crash site. 

Both injured drivers were transported to Ochsner’s LSU Health Hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The identities of the injured parties have been withheld from the public. 

An investigation is underway into the cause of the wreck at this time. More details will be released as it continues. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
