Shreveport, LA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Keatchie-Marshall Road

Shreveport, LA (June 19, 2019) – 77-year-old John E. Pettaway was identified as the man whose life was taken in a fatal pedestrian accident on Keatchie-Marshall Road on Saturday.

The accident took place at 8100 Keacthie-Marshall Road in Shreveport. The man died when his vehicle ran over him. Pettaway allegedly got out of his truck to close a gate at his home. However, his vehicle was not in park and he was pinned under the tires when it rolled over him.

Pettaway was taken to the Ochsner LSU Health where he passed away within hours.

At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
