What is the Staute of Limitations on a Car Insurance Claim?

The time limit to sue a liability insurance company is the same as that to sue a negligent driver; one year form the date of your injury.  The time limit to sue your UM insurance company is 2 years from the date of your injury.  Remember, there are many exceptions to these basic rules so always call a respected injury lawyer as soon as possible after an injury.
