New Orleans, LA – Driver Killed After Being Thrown From Car Near US 90 

New Orleans, LA (September 8, 2019) – One man has died from being thrown from his car during an accident and then hit again by another car on Thursday, September 5.

Preliminary reports from the New Orleans Police Department indicate that the first two-car crash took place at the early hour of 5:00 a.m. on the elevated portion of US Highway 90 Business East near the exit for Camp Road. The report states that a black Honda Accord and GMC pickup collided with one another. The force of the impact ejected the driver of the Honda from his car. The 48-year-old man landed on the roadway where he was then run over by a passing minivan.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
